Dear Stella,
My heart is full of love for you little girl. So cute and wiggly- this is such a fun age. You are one very happy and very loved baby. You are quick to smile and it's contagious. Size wise you are pretty average. At your 6 month check up you weighed in at 15 lbs 15 oz (47% ) and measured 26.25 in long (67%.) Your little head measures 16.5 inches (41%.) You have outgrown nearly all of your 3-6 month clothes. You started sitting up on your own at 5 1/2 months. Then a week later you were up on your hands and knees, rocking back and forth. It's so exciting and a little bit heart wrenching too seeing you "grow up" so quickly. I imagine you will be crawling everywhere pretty soon. For now you can scoot anywhere. We sometimes find you under the table looking for "snacks" that Lola drops on the floor. Yuck. We just started solid foods and it only took you a couple of days before you figured it out. You love to eat. You are waking up in the night more often then not. This time around though I know how fast the months fly by so I'm not worried about losing a little sleep or not being able to leave you for long because of breastfeeding. You'll only be small for such a short time. Lola is starting to see how much fun it is to have a sister. She talks to you and sometimes tries to drag you around the room when I'm not looking. I tell her all the time that she is so lucky to have a sister. We love you lots baby girl.
